11 th ANNUAL HILL COUNTRY YARN CRAWL This year's crawl runs from October 6 th -15 th and covers 20 fiber shops, including Comfort’s own the Tinsmith’s Wife and The Loom Room, across the central Texas. Join us for 10 fun-filled days crawling your way through 20 yarn shops around Central Texas! Bring family, meet up with friends, make new ones, and see all the great things each shop has to offer. Take the opportunity to meet Designers and Indie Dyers at all of the shops. To add to the fun, you will have lots of chances to win PRIZES! Along the way, we hope you discover new ways to fuel your fiber passion while you meet local fiber artists and delight in their wares. Best of all, you will rekindle your love for all the yarn and fibers the Hill Country has to offer. How to Play: Pay an entry fee of $15 to receive your personal Yarn Crawl Passport and a tote bag. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2017, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Historic District and Surrounding Area, Comfort, Texas Artists from throughout the region will gather in Comfort on September 16 to demonstrate, show and sell their works at the Comfort Art Festival. The show spotlights works of Hill Country artists in a variety of media, from oil paintings and drawings to jewelry, photography and textiles, and celebrates their unique artistic inspirations and talents. Artists will have displays at merchants, wineries and the distillery in Comfort and the surrounding area. Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A list of artists and their locations will be available at participating sites.
